Enrolments

By enrolling in our programs you understand that your booking is for the term and your place is secured once payment has been received. Your spot cannot be booked by others and as a result we cannot offer refunds or credits for non-attendance. Please understand we have limited availability with waiting lists and you are reserving your spot for the term. Enrolments roll over each term and you do not need to re-enrol after each term.

 

Payments

Full payment is required in advance to reserve a place in our programs and is paid on a term-to-term basis. Once your enrolment has been confirmed an invoice will be sent with payment information. Your place is not confirmed until payment has been received. 

Membership

Membership is required for students who wish to join our programs.

Membership Fees;

Full Year (Term 1 – 4) $24

Half Year (Term 3 & 4) $12

Supervision

Students enrolled in our programs are under full supervision during their allocated class times. Students are welcome at our facility before or after their class, however coaches are unable to supervise them during this time.  No student is able to be under our coaches supervision if they are not enrolled in our program on that day. 

Wet Weather

Some of our programs will continue on wet weather days as we conduct the classes undercover. Red, Orange & Green ball programs will always be held regardless of the weather and students may be collected at the normal time.

Other programs such as private lessons, squads and yellow ball classes will be cancelled when the courts become too slippery and unsafe.  A text message will be sent out to parents no later than 30minutes before the scheduled class time if the lesson is cancelled. The weather can be very unpredictable and we try our best to keep the class on!

All cancelled classes due to wet weather will be credited over to the following term. Credits can only be rolled over to the following term.  Credits cannot be transferred to another family member.

Missed Classes

Due to the nature of our service and limited numbers in our programs, we are unable to offer refunds or credits for non-attendance.

We do understand sometimes you are unable to attend due to illness, school camps or other circumstances, so we offer 1 make-up lesson each term based on availability. We will try our best to fit you into an appropriate class but cannot guarantee a make-up lesson will be provided. Please keep in mind we have limited classes and limited spots in each class and cannot always accommodate if you miss your lesson.

It is the responsibility of the parent to check availability for a make-up lesson with their coach. Make-up lessons are not provided for fixtures programs as this is factored into the enrolment price.

Private lessons require 24 hours notice for cancellation via text message or phone call otherwise the full fee will be charged. If you provide 24hrs notice, we will offer another time slot for a make-up class. Make-up classes must be completed during the current term and no credits can be issued.

Timetable Changes

Classes may be changed at short notice and we will try to accommodate as best we can to insure all students are able to join our programs.

Photography & Video

You agree Agar Tennis Club retains the rights to use for publicity and advertising purposes photographs and video footage of students. in our programs. Images may be used on our website and other platforms.

Holiday Camps

Full payment is required in advance to secure your spot in our holiday camps. In the case of rain and we are unable to hold the camp, the day will be postponed and made up on the following day. If we are unable to do so or if your child is unable to attend, a credit will be issued. If we experience wet weather during the camp, alternative activities will be held undercover for all students. No refunds or credits are issued for non-attendance.

Public Holidays & Pupil Free Days

No classes will be held on public holidays and you will not be charged. Red ball classes are the only classes that will not be held on pupil free days. All other programs will run as usual.

Medical & Liability

By enrolling in our programs you authorise our coaches to act on your behalf in their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention. You release Agar Tennis Club from any and all liability for injury, illness or costs incurred while undertaking our program.

Tennis Racquet

Students require their own tennis racquet for their class. We can provide a tennis racquet for a trial if needed. Tennis racquets can be purchased from our pro-shop and will be organised for their first lesson.Â
